2007 Honda CR-V pricing announced in Canada Pin It

Honda Canada has announced pricing for the all new 2007 Honda CR-V compact sport-utility vehicle. Ranging from Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSPR) of $27,700 for the two-wheel-drive LX model to $37,400 for the CR-V EX-L Navi. CR-V is scheduled to go on sale in Canada on October 16.

“Since its introduction in 1997, Honda’s CR-V has remained a popular choice for Canadians because of its compact size, innovative features and excellent fuel efficiency”, said Jim Miller, executive vice president of Honda Canada Inc. “The redesigned, re-engineered 2007 CR-V provides increased functionality, capability, refinement and the highest levels of standard safety features in its class”.

The all-new 2007 Honda CR-V adds a dynamic sense of style and refinement, while adding collision compatibility safety enhancements such as Honda’s exclusive Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) Body Structure for enhanced crash compatibility and occupant protection. New for 2007 is the option of two-wheel-drive (available on LX) and Honda’s Satellite-Linked Navigation System with Bilingual Voice Recognition™ and rearview camera (featured on the CR-V EX-L Navi model).

The 2.4-litre i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine and standard 5-speed automatic transmission provide an excellent balance of power (166 horsepower) and fuel economy of 10.2 / 7.3 L/100km (city/highway) with available 2WD and 10.7 / 7.8 L/100km (city/highway) with AWD.

Top-of-class standard safety equipment includes side curtain airbags with rollover sensor, front side airbags with passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS), active front head restraints, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA®), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The fully automatic RealTime™ 4-wheel drive system is standard on all trim levels (with the option of 2-wheel drive available on the LX trim). The RealTime™ 4-wheel drive system is designed to enhance the CR-V’s all-weather capabilities when driving in rain, snow, dirt roads and sandy conditions without the significant weight, fuel economy and handling performance drawbacks of conventional 4-wheel-drive systems.

Pricing for the CR-V LX (2-wheel drive) is $27,700. The LX model with Real Time4WD™ is $29,700. LX features a standard 5-speed automatic transmission, 4-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution and Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist® (VSA) with traction control, 17-inch steel wheels, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), front, front side and side curtain airbags with rollover sensor, Maintenance Minder™ system, AM/FM/CD audio system with MP3/WMA playback and four speakers, MP3/auxiliary audio input jack, air conditioning with air-filtration system, tilt and telescoping steering column, power windows with driver’s auto up/down, programmable power door locks, power side mirrors, retractable center tray table, upper and lower glove compartments, under-seat storage bin, 60/40 split sliding fold and tumble rear seats, ambient console lighting, remote entry system and heated mirrors, and two 12-volt power outlets.

The CR-V EX is priced at $32,600 and adds one-touch power moonroof with tilt feature, chrome grille and rear license trim, rear privacy-tinted glass, security system, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, dual-deck cargo shelf, AM/FM/6-disc in-dash audio system with six speakers, exterior temperature indicator, alloy wheels, and three 12-volt power outlets.

The CR-V EX-L, priced at $34,600, adds leather trimmed seats, armrests, steering wheel and shift knob, heated front seats, body-coloured side mirrors and door handles, AM/FM/6-disc CD changer audio system with six speakers, and center console.

CR-V EX-L Navi, priced at $37,400, features Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation with Bilingual Voice Recognition™ and rearview camera, 270-watt AM/FM/6-disc premium audio system with seven speakers (including subwoofer), digital audio card reader with MP3/WMA compatibility.
